A Conversation About Building Resilience

Dr. Susan David gives down to earth and digestible information to shift from surviving in this time to thriving in the attached virtual TED talk. Dr. David shares wisdom on how to build resilience, courage, and joy amid the coronavirus pandemic. Responding to listeners' questions from across the globe, she offers ways to talk to your children about their emotions, keep focus during the crisis, and help those working on the front lines. "Life's beauty is inseparable from its fragility," says psychologist Dr. Susan David.

I hope this conversation inspires you to be more gentle with yourself and your children during this time. Strategies that worked in the past may not work now, and it's okay to reevaluate. We are all struggling with this new normal, and if a trained psychologist needed to "turn down the music" rather than having a dance party at night, then we can do the same. Cultivating more self-awareness is how my clients begin to collect data from their lives to decide what's working and what isn't. If you would like assistance to create more self-awareness, I can help when you are ready.

Xo,

Tracy
